Oregon Rivers

Experience Fishing the Salmon River
Main Salmon trips can be run all year, but the most popular time of the year is July-October. Main Fork Salmon trips are run July-August, with exceptional Smallmouth Bass fishing using both fly and spin gear.

In addition to our Main Salmon drift fishing trips we also offer rafting trips and fishing for Smallmouth Bass, Trout and Steelhead.

The classic high-rise rocker bottom McKenzie drift boats we use have been improved upon over the past 80 years for use on this famous river. Not only can they run whitewater, but in the hands of our able guides these stable boats can quietly and precisely maneuver into the smallest nooks and crannies to find the allusive big ones.

Each drift boat carries 3 people, 2 fly fisherman and 1 guide.

Top quality equipment is supplied by us, but in the event that you have a lucky rod or certain setup that you prefer we encourage all fisherman to bring along their favorite equipment, whether it's fly or spinning gear.

We will schedule all our trips for the times that work for our guests. If you want to fish late or early that's fine with us, but we will always give our suggestions for best results.

Don't forget to bring the essentials such as rain gear, an Oregon fishing license, sunglasses, hat, sunscreen and beverages.

river location graphicIdaho's Salmon River is the largest free-flowing river the in the lower 48 states. Getting it's start in the Sawtooth Mountain Range and joined by the Middle Fork the Salmon has gouged a deep desert canyon that sees little if any human traffic.

Magnificent scenery, incredible camping, crystal clear water and the solitude of the Desert West all await you on Idaho's Salmon.
