Scenic Driftboat Trips on the Middle Fork Salmon River
A Scenic Driftboat trip down the Middle Salmon River is something that will truly amaze anyone taking you into incredibly prestine wildlife areas accesible only by boat or trail.

The 6 day 5 night trip takes you down approximately 100 miles of the Middle Fork Salmon, travelling through some of the most unspoiled wildlife areas in the US.

At each night's stop a deluxe camp is setup where we cook steak, fish, dutch oven biscuits, fresh salads and more all in fine Northwest Style.

The night prior to the start of the trip we suggest staying in Stanley to assure an early departure the following morning. We can recommend a number of lodges in Stanley upon request.

A list of suggested equipment is sent to each person on the trip, we furnish tents cooking and fishing gear as well as beer and soft drinks. View our packing list here.

The classic high-rise rocker bottom McKenzie drift boats we use have been improved upon over the past 80 years for use on the Northwest's famous rivers. Not only can they run whitewater, but in the hands of our able guides these stable boats can quietly and precisely maneuver into the smallest canals and streams to view wildlife at it's most pristine.

Each drift boat carries 3 people, 2 guests and 1 guide.

Don't forget to bring the essentials such as binoculars, a camera, rain gear, sunglasses, hat, sunscreen and beverages.
