Fishing Eastern Oregon with Helfrich River Adventures
Fishing Trips on the Eastern Oregon Rivers are run when their height is favorable. This is generally in the Spring and
Fall.

Equipment
The classic high-rise rocker bottom McKenzie drift boats we use have been improved upon over the past 80 years for use on this famous river. Not only can they run whitewater, but in the hands of our able guides these stable boats can quietly and precisely maneuver into the smallest nooks and crannies to find the allusive big ones.

Each drift boat carries 3 people, 2 fly fisherman and 1 guide.

Top quality equipment is supplied by us, but in the event that you have a lucky rod or certain setup that you prefer we encourage all fisherman to bring along their favorite equipment, whether it's fly or spinning gear.

We will schedule all our trips for the times that work for our guests. If you want to fish late or early that's fine with us, but we will always give our suggestions for best results.

Don't forget to bring the essentials such as rain gear, an Oregon fishing license, sunglasses, hat, sunscreen and beverages.
